What is Children's Church?

March 31, 2019

Children's Church is a two-fold ministry of seeking and keeping.

Seeking:

We seek to introduce lost children to Jesus for the first time, as well as introduce our 'church' kids into developing their own walk with Jesus at a young age.  We believe that kids can be filled with the Holy Ghost and develop a relationship with Jesus Christ at a young age.

Keeping:

We want to teach kids how to be better Christians with concepts such as 'Loving the Least of These' and 'As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.'  We do not want to lead kids to salvation and forget about them, we want them to grow ministries of their own.  We want to transform their lives, so they can in turn transform the lives of others and our avenue is Children's Church.

Jesus used tools in His earthly ministry like parables (story-telling) and object lessons, to make complicated concepts understandable.  For example, He taught unity within the church by comparing the body of believers to the human body.  Through humorous skits and object lessons, we preach the Gospel to children.  We are less concerned with your child gluing cotton balls on a lamb and more concerned with their souls, although your child will have a blast in Children's Church!  We play a variety of games, as well as eat snacks and do crafts each week.  We love each and every one of the children and we look forward to seeing your child there!
