Not only did Vickie brighten the room with her smile and laughter but she was also a prayer warrior. I've prayed with Vickie alot and heard her testimony about trusting in Jesus. My prayers and thoughts are with the family.

Remember, in the face of tragedy we have this truth, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."

Remembering the good times we've had together, the love we had for one another. Such a fellowship we had in the presence of the Lord, rejoicing together in Jesus.

We may be apart but you can hold these things close to your heart. Keep in mind that Vicky is at home now, in a city where love will find it's role and all of God's children will be satisfied. Our loss is heavens gain.

Love and prayers, Uncle Max & Aunt Jewel

It has taken me a long time to get up enough nerve to write something about Aunt Vickie. She touched my life in so many ways. Because of her I am who I am today and serve the Lord. The night I wanted to go out with my friends, she wouldn't take no for an answer for going to church with her. That night I gave my heart to the Lord and haven't looked back since. Even when I wanted to go to a different church she gave me a hard time (but that was who she was) and she still supported me. She always gave me a hard way to go about not stopping enough and not bringing Zoey by more. My heart is very saddened to know that I will not be able to stop by her house and hear her call me a loser anymore. But I rejoice to know that one day I will see her smiling face and know that I will live with her in eternity. Myra, Chele, Joey and kids, know that I love you so very much and you guys mean a lot to me and my family. You are always in my family's thoughts and prayers.
With Love Tiffany, Artie, and Zoey

Dear Vickie,

I shall miss you. You were such a good person. You showed so much love and devotion to your family and friends. I'll never forget you. I know we weren't that close, but I really do love you and miss you. You inspired me to be a greater person, just by talking to me. You had such a way with words, it's amazing. I thought you were so much fun. I remember the first time I spoke to you, Rachael brought me with her to your house to meet you. And she warned me that you would pick on me. And you did, I'll never forget that. I really won't, I'm going to miss you Miss Vickie, may you rest in peace.

Love, Tyler

To Vicky's Children and families from her cousin Becky

When tomorrow starts without me
and I'm not here to see...
If the sun should rise and find your
eyes filled with tears for me,

I wish so much you wouldn't cry
the way you did today...
While thinking of the many things
we didn't get to say.

I know how much you love me,
as much as I love you...
And each time you think of me,
I know you'll miss me, too.

But when tomorrow starts without me,
please try to understand...
That Jesus came and called my name
and took me by the hand,

And said my place was ready
in heaven far above...
And that I'd have to leave behind
all those I dearly love.

So when tomorrow starts without me,
don't think we're far apart...
For every time you think of me,
I'm right here in your heart.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May you find comfort in the loving memories of your precious mother.

To My Cousins Butch, Billy, Don, Patsy, Tammy, Candy, Susie and their families:

I know of no words to say that could ease the pain you feel from the lost of your sister. Even though I haven't seen you guys for many years, I wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray that you'll find comfort in the memories you shared, the laughter, the smiles and even the tears. My love and prayers are with you all today and always.
