I would first like to say thank you for taking the time to reply. I am not hung up on a Pentecostal issue but I do find the debate of the God head very intriguing. If you are so elementary that you cannot give an answer to honest questions I am sorry. (I don't mean this in a derogatory manner) I realize the great commission is the most important thing for sinners in this world today, but the whole new testament is not just about the great commission.
To say simply that a Christians education should be only of the great commission would seem to negate the writing of most of the new testament, where we are told how to live and dwell in this world, and about finances and about marriage, NOT just the commission. I confess I would like to see more souls saved just as you, but this is a discussion board topic about the Godhead not the great commission though you may want to start that discussion and I would agree!
I do indeed apologize for stereotyping apostolic and Pentecostals that was out of line( the wording should have been the Pentecostals I have seen or heard). But the topic remains interesting to me and others. The Godhead has been debated for hundreds of years (Confessions of Saint Augustine A.D. 397, this guy was thinking on the wonderful God head mystery over 1600 years ago)
And finally to answer your question, I do believe in one God, and he sent his only son Jesus to save me (and you also). And in regards to who I worship : Jesus Christ the Son of God

2Pe 1:17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

So if you call me a Trinitarian, I will proudly stand by the word of God. Christ himself did not ever say he was explicitly God so one could say they wouldn’t have to either to be saved! Last two questions to you,
1. Again, what was the revelation Peter had according to the scriptures? That Jesus was the SON of God not just God alone. Flesh and blood cannot comprehend how God gave his Son to die for us.
2. Does Jesus Christ know when he shall return for the saint?
Call me elementary but I believe there is a difference in the way we view fundamental scriptures.
sincere thanks
and god bless you
