Hi there, I actually get this question so much that I wrote it out on my facebook LOL... so I copied and pasted it for you.... Long hair IS a Woman's Glory...the bible also tells us it is better to be SHAVEN than shorn (cut) ..... Have I ever cut/trimmed mine? Yes and I did openly repent for it too.... You asked if we are allowed to use hair products... hair spray ect is fine but I think when you go trying to get a perm in you hair or color it you are conforming to the world... we are to be a SEPARATE people.. we are not to "fit into" what the world deems "normal" in fact the bible tells us we are a "peculiar people" Adornment with gold and such is also frowned upon... I live by the bible and not man.. so it is according to who you ask and how they "live" pertaining to God's word on how they will answer you on this question... I have WORD to back me up... so here goes .....

1 Corinthians 11:15 But if a woman have long hair it is as a GLORY unto her, for her hair is given her for a covering.
1 Corinthians 11:6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: But if it be a SHAME for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
What about a man you ask?
1 Corinthians 11;14 Doth not nature itself teach you, that if a man have long hair it is a SHAME unto him?
Apparel you ask?
1 Timothy 2:9,10 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with braided hair or gold, or pearls, or costly array.
But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
Deuteronomy 22:5 The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God
2 Corinthians 6:17,18 Wherefore come OUT from among them, and be ye SEPERATE, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”
